The RealValue Project Launch took place on Wednesday 9th December 2015 in Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland. The event attracted approximately 200 participants including all project partners and the wide range of stakeholders from the Irish and European energy industry. The aim of the RealValue Project Launch was to present the current status of the Project and early results. During the event participants had an opportunity to hear from the RealValue partners in a ‘spotlight on innovation’ session. Consortium partners include SSE Airtricity, EirGrid, Intel, The University of Oxford and ESB Networks to name a few.
The project, led by Glen Dimplex, the world’s largest manufacturer of electrical heating, involves installing and trialling thousands of Glen Dimplex quantum smart electric thermal storage systems into 1250 homes in Ireland, Germany and Latvia. It is the first large testing of this game changing new model for renewable energy storage and one that is intended to be a catalyst for change across the EU.
We had the pleasure of working alongside client Glen Dimplex in the development of their new website and brand for the RealValue project. We also created an animation for the event to explain the project in an interesting and visual way. It was shown to open the event and received great feedback.
