When I think of breakfast events, I think of fairly standard things like church socials or the local scout troop fundraiser promoted by a combination of word-of-mouth, comic sans and clip art. Not so for the Marlin Company, Missouri; they teamed up with St. Louis photographer Brandon Voges and Brouton Stroube Studios to create a full-scale moving image, digital and interactive campaign to promote their annual breakfast at the Art Institute of Chicago.
The work is eye-catching, humorous, engaging and beautifully realised across all the media used, and is definitely worth a look. You can even take the quiz to find out what your Donut Double is, of course I got the Triple Chocolate Threat.. give it a go!
